Danielle Hewson named one of the country’s “30 General Managers to Watch” by Hotel Management Magazine
Fargo, ND (September 29, 2017) National Hospitality Services is excited to announce that Danielle Hewson, General Manager of the Staybridge Suites in Fargo, has been named one of Hotel Management Magazine’s “30 GMs to Watch” in 2017.
Recipients of this award are recognized for representing the qualities that make a General Manager excel in their field, including leadership, passion, caring, commitment and the ability to go above and beyond in all aspects of their work. Recipients are chosen through a nomination process and include General Managers from across the country and all segments of the hotel industry.
“Danielle leads and inspires the people around her. She shines with passion and makes employees feel that they are a part of the hotel family,” said Michelle Chevalier, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for National Hospitality Services. “Danielle treats her guests as she would guests in her own home – she exemplifies hospitality and customer service.”
Hewson began her management career working as a General Manger at the 45th St. Dairy Queen in Fargo while she attended West Fargo High School. She later enrolled at NDSU, graduating in 2006 with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She continued her career in restaurant management until 2010, when she began working as a Front Office Manager at the Staybridge Suites in Fargo. Within one year at the hotel she was promoted to Assistant General Manager and then to General Manager. Currently, Hewson serves as the General Manager for the Staybridge Suites in Fargo, as well as overseeing the Hawthorn Suites in Fargo and Staybridge Suites in Grand Forks as an Area Manager. She also provides training for all new National Hospitality Service General Managers as part of National Hospitality Services NHSU training program.
