FARGO, ND (February 18, 2019) National Hospitality Services is excited to announce the addition of several new team members to their Fargo-based corporate team. The award-winning hospitality management company currently employs more than 30 corporate staff members, and serves 32 hotels nationwide through services including accounting, human resources, sales and marketing, operations support, property maintenance, and procurement.
New National Hospitality Services team members include:
- Greg Tankersley – Senior Vice President of Operations and Sales
Greg Tankersley joins the National Hospitality Services team as Senior Vice President of Operations and Sales. Greg has an extensive background in the hospitality industry – including more than 25 years of tactical experience in hotel operations, proficiency in managing many different flags and types of hotel properties and has won numerous awards for performance in both operations and sales. Greg also holds a business management degree from Cincinnati State.
- Marti Jensen – Human Resources Director
Marti Jensen joins NHS as the Human Resources Director. Marti takes a hands-on approach to leadership, and brings a background of more than a decade of working in all areas of human resources, more than eight years of hotel, restaurant and retail management experience, SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, and extensive volunteer experience with her to her position.
- Crystal Whorton – Regional Director
Crystal Whorton joins the NHS team as a Regional Director. Crystal has a depth of experience in the hospitality industry, with previous roles including F&B Director, Director of Sales and General Manager at the property level. She is the Vice President of the Tyler, TX Lodging Association, and brings a background of more than 15 years in the industry to her position.
- Ryan Hylla – Talent Recruiter
Ryan Hylla joins the NHS Human Resources team as a Talent Recruiter. Ryan brings a background of more than five years of experience in full-cycle recruiting. Ryan excels in relationship building and assisting others in pursuing their career goals.
- Jami Verkuehlen – Financial Analyst
Jami Verkuehlen joins National Hospitality Services in their new Financial Analyst role. Jami has a depth of experience in finance, including a Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Dakota in Accountancy, more than a decade of financial planning and analysis experience, and skills in budgeting, forecasting, M&A, Internal Controls and Strategic Planning.
- Hayley Shiefelbein – Accountant
Hayley Shiefelbein joins NHS’s finance team as an Accountant. Hayley holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Minnesota State University Moorhead in Accounting, and has more than four years of experience in accounts payable, and more than five years of customer service experience.
- Stephanie Henney – Accountant
Stephanie Henney joins National Hospitality Services’ finance team as an accountant. Stephanie is currently working towards her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota – Crookston. She brings more than 15 years of customer service experience, and more than a year of both property management and accounting experience with her to her position.
- Zach Frank – Accounts Payable
Zach joins NHS as an Accounts Payable specialist. Zach holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Dakota State University, and is currently seeking CPA certification. He brings a background of more than four years of customer service experience, and volunteering experience as a tax preparer with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance with him to his position.
- Brady Hand – Human Resources Payroll Coordinator
Brady Hand joins the team in the Human Resources Department as the Human Resources Payroll Coordinator. Brady earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Minnesota State University Moorhead, and brings more than five years of customer service experience to his position.
- Brian Johnson – Procurement Specialist
Brian Johnson joins NHS as the Procurement Specialist. Brian holds an Associate’s Degree in Sales, Marketing and Management, and brings with him more than 20 years of customer service experience, over 15 years of purchasing and inventory management experience, and a background of more than 20 years working in Fargo’s wireless retail sector.
- Trent Buchholz – Help Desk Administrator
Trent Buchholz joins the NHS team as the Help Desk Administrator. Trent is working towards his Associate of Science degree in Business Management, and brings five years of projects and staff management, five years of IT help desk leadership and 10 years of customer service experience to his position.
- Jenny Kleinwachter – Executive Assistant
Jenny Kleinwachter joins the NHS team as Executive Assistant to the COO. Jenny is a graduate of Rasmussen Business College, and brings more than 15 years of business administration and customer service experience, and more than five years of office management experience with her to her position.
