National Hospitality Services named Regional Firm to Watch
FARGO, N.D. (Sept. 22, 2015) — National Hospitality Services, LLC (NHS) was named one of Lodging Magazine’s
“Regional Firms to Watch.” NHS provides human resources, sales and marketing, revenue management services, and
its proprietary OnTracTM accounting system for 19 full service, extended stay and limited service hotels nationwide —
including five in North Dakota.
The growing company has a proven track record of hotel success, fostered by its culture of performance, effective
management tools and shared vision among employees. According to President Norman Leslie, NHS expects to
manage 30 hotels by the end of next year.
“Our comprehensive evaluation system sets us apart from the competition,” Leslie says. “We evaluate seven key
performance indices, including RevPAR Index, gross operating profit, house profit, accounts receivable management,
TripAdvisor rank, and brand service and quality assurance scores. Evaluating this dynamic list allows us to identify
problems, not just symptoms, and is critical to a hotel’s near- and long-term performance.”
He adds that NHS aligns its goals with each hotel owner’s values and expectations. “It’s a vested and balanced
approach,” he says, adding that NHS is increasingly recognized for its exceptional performance from a growing base
of owners looking to “break free of mediocre results.”
NHS constantly evaluates and upgrades its management tools and performance standards, and is always seeking
exceptional General Managers and executive-level talent to support its growing clientele.
Lodging Magazine is the official publication of the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
