National Hospitality Services promotes Alycia Bilbrey
to Staybridge Suites General Manager

MINOT, N.D. (September 16, 2015) — National Hospitality Services (NHS) announces the promotion of Alycia Bilbrey to General Manager, Staybridge Suites® in Minot, North Dakota. Promoted from her previous position of Executive Housekeeper, Bilbrey was selected for her ambition, dedication and supportive team approach.

Bilbrey has been with Minot Staybridge Suites from the beginning. Initially she worked as a contractor (with her
mother’s cleaning business) to help with new construction clean up. She then joined the hotel staff as Assistant Executive Housekeeper, and assumed the role of Executive Housekeeper six months later. Moving to this management role meant
also acting as a support system for the team, she says.

Earlier this year, NHS was looking to fill the General Manager position. After interviewing many candidates, the
management company recognized that Bilbrey was already a great fit for the role. “I had been taking on a lot of responsibility in the hotel, stepping in wherever needed, and I was interested in the position,” Bilbrey says. “I was thrilled to receive the offer letter.”

“My role as General Manager is to support every aspect of hotel operations, from the team and our various departments, to going above-and-beyond for hotel guests,” she says. “We provide a home-like atmosphere and treat our guests as extended family.” Bilbrey says she also looks forward to finding new ways to continue growing the business, especially with local oil fields slowing down. Additionally, she has helped NHS open three new Staybridge Suites to date, offering her expertise in efficient housekeeping operations and training.

During her time with the hotel, Minot Staybridge Suites has earned two IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) awards for outstanding quality and service from the guest perspective — the Newcomer Award (2013) and the Torchbearer Award (2014). “Alycia’s prior experience as Executive Housekeeper played a large role in winning those awards,” Brown says.
“She is a talented team player who is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure the Minot location is one of the best Staybridge Suites in the world.”
